I received a review copy of the recently released Forza Motorsport 3 racing game for Xbox 360 and the published story can be read here (in finnish only, sorry). In addition to very nice physics modeling, it provides a huge list of nice features such as a handy livery editor - a few examples below. :)

Photos from the six hour combined ESa/ERa race organized by KySUA in May 2009. A photos also from the truck race prior to ours. I still need a bit of practise with my new camera body and lense so didn’t get too many publishable photos this time.

The new website for Red Five Racing has been under construction for quite some while and now it’s finally done! Or at least released, that is.. :) There’s quite a lot of stuff still to do, including all english translations. Drop us a note if you run into anything unexpected!

This small tool allows you to easily experiment with the effect of different transmissions, final drive ratios and tyre sizes to the speed of your car in different gears. The graphs drawn by the tool visualize the relation between the engine rpms and car speed. A separate form also shows you the maximum speed attainable for each gear and the engine rpm where the each gear starts after a shift up.

Videoclips from the Alastaro Endurance Saloon race in fall 2008. A six-hour race compressed to under six minutes. :)
